It is my intention after completing the Seti Project to develop this further, but as of yet haven’t got around to developing beyond the design. When I was younger and living with my gran, she always had the radio on in the mornings, back then Terry Wogan was on BBC Radio 1 here in the UK, he had this thing about road cones. It was on going, he would go on about how they were everywhere, they’d spring up from no where and make the motorists life a misery. It was a thing for us to go to Blackpool every year for the lights, this one year was a lousy day and we were sat in the coach having our packed lunch, when outside a little up the road was a cone. bit by bit it felt it was coming towards us, the wind was making it move, (I hope). That moment was a little unnerving watching it come towards us, I was no more than eight or nine and hooked on Doctor Who and the Daleks need I say much more except thirty years later I may be slightly obsessed by them? As for the Wheelie Bins? Well that’s a different story…
These couple below are near enough a settled version for Conun. This model compared to the above also differ as their static, any posing adjustments made using nulls, where as the model below is fully posable like a normal Poser/Daz Character model.
Every story needs baddies and here they are, the dreaded Binz. The first full render is an early incarnation, sadly I’ve lost the model I made for that one and besides it reminds me too much of a Dalek by having the single eye. The second and third design are used within the Seti Project, when I get around to developing this story, I will rig and model improved new versions.
The last render is Binny with SparkyWorlds Robo Elf, this render was sent to Mr Sparky, (as he likes to be called), requesting him if I could use Robo’s arms. Graciously he allowed me and resulted in Binny to be born.
