Genesis is the latest figure from Daz Studio’s and after my initial reluctance to adopt her, (free by the way with Daz Studio 4, as was the program for a limited time), I’ve eventually embraced it. Whilst Daz are making some strange decisions at the moment, I can’t really see it really taking off, not until the Poser community can have it, because of it’s make up, it’s not able to transport over to it.
So what’s so special about Genesis and making me dump Victoria so quickly? Well I’ve never been a great fan of Victoria, but like all other Vikkies, they’ve always been well supported by the community… but Vikkie is Vikkie, but Genesis is Vikkie, Aiko, Steph, Michael, David, Kids, The Girl… it’s everything, it can be mixed and matched into any shape or form you heart desires. It has better joint geometry and better mesh resolution.
With Autofit, any clothes from other figures can be used – minus the morphs though, one down side, but works pretty well any. Also thanks to some clever fellow by the name of StudioArtVatanian, using his Gen4 program I get to inject Victoria Character morphs…
Below are my experiments with Genesis, digital nudity follows…
And now for something completely different…
