Models

As I’ve mentioned on the main page is my love of collecting Star Wars Lego Minifigs. Back in my earlier days before I started to dabble with 3D modelling as such, I had a site called the parallel unifigverse, it mostly consisted of 2D workings of movie stars, pop stars and anyone else for that fact that caught my eye. That site’s long gone and unfortunately so are all the images I created as well. With the creation of my current site, (shamelessly plugged in the last image below), I hit on the idea of trying to reproduce the same effect but in 3D, after hours of searching on the web and drawing blanks either because it was in the wrong format or just not good enough, I decided to build my own and this is the result.

The bin below was a challenge to myself, we have them at work and thought I could do that, so I did. Why I done a Ziggurat I can’t recall but I can remember it took quite a while. The flat’s again I can’t think why exactly I spent so many hours designing, but if you look closely in the stair well you’ll see a couple of the bins in it… perhaps I wanted to give them a home. Lastly the dubbed “modulator”, pure fantasy.

Below are the 3D used in creating the scenes for the Seti Project to date. Any colour or textures used added in Daz Studio.

Despite many an hour searching various 3D model sites in search of a Burger Van be it to purchase or as a freebie, I was soon resigned to the fact I had to make one for the Fruitloop Daydream project and so here it is…

Sandies Hot Box burger Van frustrated the hell out of me and realised my modelling skills were rather lacking – so I decided to try another 3D package in the form of Hexagon – first attempts in designing and texturing again proved just as frustrating…
