During a lull in modelling and generally playing about in 3d art, I happened to browse through Renderosity “Freebies” and came across Tate’s “Black Crow Ninja”. This brilliant fully posable character inspired me to have a dabble and get creative again, the result is also an attempt to actually replicate a comic and put to test what I’ve learnt about using DOF and trying various lighting affects.
Below are the various images used to create this two page comic, all are quite large and the last one especially as I like to create the odd desktop wallpaper from the current project I’m working on. Some also have some post work done to them in Photoshop, the next to last image has quite a bit to try and replicate the street lamp light flaring, it didn’t quite work but I still like the results. Finally the last image is a test image.
